 Ler é fixe

Ler é importante, não importa onde, se sozinho ou acompanhado. Assim, no nosso Agrupamento, desenvolvemos diferentes atividades de leitura. Hoje, vamos falar-vos de duas propostas. Numa, os pais, em casa ou na aula, colaboram com os filhos em projetos de leitura. A sugestão é lerem o mesmo livro e depois conversarem sobre ele, filmando em vídeo, que será apresentado à turma. Em alternativa, os pais podem vir à escola onde, juntamente com os seus filhos, apresentam para outros alunos o livro que leram. Na outra proposta, o aluno lê um livro e, sozinho, prepara uma apresentação oral sobre o livro que leu, numa perspetiva crítica. O trabalho será, mais tarde, apresentado na sala de aula para os restantes colegas. Com estas atividades pretendemos aumentar a motivação dos nossos alunos para a leitura, objetivo esse que está a ser atingido. Uns porque gostam de preparar a atividade com os pais, sentindo-se orgulhosos, outros porque gostam de mostrar o seu trabalho aos colegas e outros, ainda, porque ficam curiosos em relação aos livros apresentados.

Reading is cool

Reading is important, no matter where, either alone or in company. Therefore, at our school, we develop different reading activities. Today, we tell you about two proposals. In one of them, parents, at home or in the classroom, collaborate with their chidren in reading projects. The suggestion is reading the same book and then  talking about it, by recording a vídeo to show the class. Alternatively, parents may come to school and together  with their children they  talk to other students about the book they have read. In the other one, the student  reads a book and prepares an oral presentation on his own, which will be later presented , in the classroom,  from a critical point of view. Our aim with these activities is to increase motivation in our students to reading. The reasons why they get so engaged in this kind of activities are varied. Some  like to prepare the activity with their parents, feeling proud, others   like to show their work and  finally others  are curious about the books presented.
